Mizery - Bio Part 1

PART 3: NO LONGER A THREAT

"I noticed that with age, as a young adult I became a threat. White guys were no longer satisfied with calling me nigger, it became more like; 'Get Him!!'. What's that guy doing around here, is he after our girls?.... I became a target. And to the police too. After 11pm it's always: "What are you doing on this street?" and I seemed to lose the right to question authority. I couldn't even get angry. I developed a grudge attitude towards everything. Then I noticed that other people felt that way as well and maybe, if we argued a little and if there was enough of us, maybe we could change things."

"Now ...I'm just miserable, more like Grandpa miserable. I sit at home complaining. I'm less likely to march in the streets with banners or riot."
